The Eastern High Court confirms: "Not possible to bring PI proceedings based on a patent application": On 6 October 2022, the Eastern High Court upheld the Maritime and Commercial High Court's decision to dismiss Novartis' requests for preliminary injunctions and orders for formal reasons since the requests were based on a European patent application. Axcel acquires NTI Group ApS: Kromann Reumert has assisted Axcel in connection with its agreement to acquire NTI Group ApS. In 2022 the company is expected to generate a revenue of approximately DKK 1.5bn. Read more here.
Anora acquires the leading wine company in Denmark: To further strengthen its position as the leading Nordic wine and spirits group, Finnish Anora has signed an agreement to acquire 100 % of Danish Globus Wine A/S. Kromann Reumert has assisted Anora in the acquisition. Read more here.
Kromann Reumert advises major shareholders in connection with their sale of shares in Sanistål A/S: Kromann Reumert has advised Danske Bank A/S, Nordea Bank Abp, Jyske Bank A/S and Nykredit Bank A/S, who jointly holds approximately 75 % of the Shares in Sanistål A/S, in connection with the sale of their shares to Ahlsell. Hempel completes EUR 1.5 billion facilities and links borrowing costs to sustainability targets: World-leading coatings company, Hempel A/S, has completed a EUR 500 million term loan and amendments to an existing EUR 1 billion revolving credit facility. The facility will support Hempel A/S' general corporate and working capital purposes. We have advised Hempel on the matter as well as on the ESG amendments of these two credit facilities linking borrowing costs to four sustainability targets. Read more here.
European Energy enters joint venture to secure greener heating in the UK: The Danish renewables company European Energy has entered a heat pump joint venture, European Energy Heating, together with UK company Pure Renewables in a large-scale move to enter UK heating market. OneFiber by GlobalConnect acquires Wizer's fiber-to-the-home infrastructure: The Northern European fiber-based data communication and data center services provider OneFiber by GlobalConnect has acquired the Danish internet service provider Wizer's (Gigabit) FTTH infrastructure in Denmark. Norwegian Bonheur ASA acquires 25.5 % of the shares in Danish renewables consultancy: The Norwegian listed company Bonheur ASA has acquired 25.5 % of the shares in NPP Renewables ApS operating a renewables consultancy, New Power Partners ApS, and a site logistics and accommodation provider, Site Solution Partners.
