Klimate receives EUR 3.5 million investment to further advance their contribution in combating climate change
Klimate is a startup that offers carbon management solutions to help businesses achieve net zero emissions by providing a platform that allows customers to purchase high-quality carbon removal solutions from various projects around the world. Klimate helps scale the carbon removal industry by connecting the demand and supply with financing. Klimate also conducts detailed analysis, bulk procurement, project financing, and integrated platform services for its customers.
The investment round
We have assisted Klimate ApS in negotiating and closing an investment round of EUR 3.5 million from Eneco Smart Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Eneco Group, and Helen Ventures, the venture capital unit of Helen Oy, a Finnish energy company. The investment round was led by Eneco and joined by existing investors Rockstart and the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO).
The investment round will enable Klimate to grow its team, scale internationally, and further develop its software platform that empowers businesses to secure high-quality carbon removal solutions.
