Sofie Jensen specialises in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance), company law and general commercial law as well as aviation financing.

Sofie assists clients in both Denmark and abroad in connection with their M&A activities. She assists in the planning of data room processes, legal due diligence investigations and ESG due diligence investigations, and drafting and negotiation of transaction documents. Sofie has detailed knowledge of W&I insurances and regulation of shareholder issues. Sofie has in particular worked on mergers and acquisitions within the energy sector.

In addition, Sofie advises Danish and foreign clients on ESG. She provides advice for clients on how they can and should work with ESG from a legal perspective, how clients can manage and implement ESG in internal processes and policies and on requirements for sustainability reporting, sustainability due diligence and responsible investments.

Sofie also advises on general commercial and corporate law issues, including restructurings, national and cross-border corporate transactions, capital structures and corporate governance.

Furthermore, Sofie engages in aviation law matters, including in connection with the purchase, sale and financing of aircrafts.

When providing advice, Sofie seeks to deliver a structured process focusing on the client's legal and commercial interests.

Sofie is also Kromann Reumert's knowledge ambassador in the fields of M&A and ESG. As such, she is responsible for providing M&A training to our assistant and junior attorneys and responsible for promoting the sharing of knowledge of both MA& and ESG, both internally within our organisation and with the outside world.
