Søren Skibsted
Søren serves as the head of Kromann Reumert's Technology and Outsourcing Groups and is a partner in the firm's Corporate Group. He is admitted to practice as a lawyer in Denmark, and non-solicitor in England and Wales.
Søren advices a broad range of Danish and foreign businesses on IT and technology transactions, including joint ventures, outsourcing and IT system projects. Søren has advised on many of the largest technology projects and disputes in the Danish market.
Søren has been recognised by Chambers and other international rating firms as a leading adviser on information systems and technology. He has authored multiple publications on outsourcing and IT law and holds (or has held) various positions of trust within those specialist areas, including:
- Co-Chair of the IBA Technology Committee
- Chairman of the board of directors of the Association of Danish IT Attorneys
- Co-Chair of the IBA Presidential Task Force on Cybersecurity for boards of directors and senior management members
- Member of the legal council of the Danish IT Society, and
- Member of the faculty of the CBS Board Leadership Education, focusing on cybersecurity and board work.
Søren is a frequent speaker at international conferences, most recently on the board's cybersecurity responsibility at the IBA conferences in California, Florida and Berlin in 2022/2023, and he is the author of various articles on IT law and outsourcing, including the Board Leadership Society's cybersecurity guidelines.
