Skovgaard Energy and Norwegian energy developer enters into partnership
The Danish energy developer Skovgaard Energy A/S has entered into a partnership with Norwegian energy developer Cloudberry Clean Energy ASA. We have assisted Skovgaard Energy throughout the transaction.
Skovgaard Energy will retain a 20% ownership in the newly established partnership, with Cloudberry Clean Energy acquiring a 80% ownership interest. The portfolio consists of 51 onshore wind turbines, with 47 in Denmark and 4 in southern Sweden, with a total ownership-adjusted capacity of 106 MW (approx. 311 GWh).
The partnership allows Skovgaard Energy to accelerate their Power-to-X initiatives and represents another step in the transition towards green energy in Europe and development of further renewable energy projects in the Nordics.
We have assisted Skovgaard Energy throughout the transaction process. The transaction is pending Closing, which is conditioned upon foreign direct investment approval from the Danish Business Authority.
