The Norne Carbon Capture Storage (CCS) infrastructure project commenced its engineering, investment, and development activities in 2021 to safely store the first CO2 by mid-2027.

By 2030, Norne is aiming to store more than 30 million tons of CO2 per year corresponding to approximately half of Denmark's annual CO2 emissions. Hence, Norne is a crucial project not only in the decarbonization of Denmark but also in EU's green transition where it has been designated a Project of Common Interest, recognizing its role as a priority infrastructure project with significant EU impact.

We are proud to have assisted Norne Carbon Storage Hub in the investment.
