Fayard vs Karpowership
We acted for Turkish owners Karpowership in legal proceedings before the Maritime & Commercial High Court in Denmark. The case concerned a dispute about payment for services rendered by a Danish yard, Fayard, to Karpowership in connection with the preparation for towage of two vessels, which Karpowership had purchased from a Danish seller. To obtain security for the payment claim Fayard arrested two vessels claiming that the value of the first vessel was too little to provide security for the claim. Karpowership argued that the second arrest was unlawful, however the court accepted that the value of the vessel subject to the first arrest was not big enough to provide the yard with proper security. On the merits, Karpowership succeeding in having the payment claim reduced. The matter involved cross examination of numerous witnesses which were allowed to give evidence in English before the Maritime & Commercial High Court via video conference

Cadeler - Shipbuilding contracts for 4 wind turbine vessels
We assisted Cadeler with shipbuilding contracts for 2 wind turbine installation vessels contracted in China at Cosco Heavy Industries as well as 2 wind turbine foundation vessel also contracted in China at Cosco Heavy Industries. Our assistance included drafting as well as negotiating the shipbuilding contracts with the Chinese yard
