Mathias Bruun Maaløe

Mathias advises Danish and foreign sponsors and managers on all matters related to the establishment and operation of private equity funds, venture capital funds and other alternative investment funds. He also assists investors in investing in such funds and in buying and selling pre-existing investor commitments in the secondary market (secondaries transactions).

Furthermore, he provides advice on general corporate law issues and on regulatory issues in the financial sector, focusing on the situation of asset managers (alternative investment fund managers) and the investor protection rules governing them.

Mathias' work also includes litigation and arbitration of commercial disputes. His experience includes assisting clients in resolving disputes relating to commercial contracts, damages and M&A, and he is proficient in dealing with the particular issues arising when private equity funds or their managers and employees get involved in such disputes.
