Jesper Aabenhus Rasmussen advises on general corporate and commercial law and on M&A, particularly in cases involving German/Danish issues. Jesper serves as a board member in various owner-managed and family-owned businesses and in several Danish foundations.

Having advised owner-managed and family-owned businesses and their owners for decades, including on acquisition, sale and succession planning, he has developed profound knowledge of, and insight into, all issues and aspects related to such businesses.

For more than 20 years, Jesper has been holding board positions, often as chairman, in various owner-managed and family-owned businesses, and he chairs the boards of several Danish foundations.

He has profound knowledge of Danish and international commercial law and deep insight into Danish and international commercial matters from his employments in British and German law firms, which - combined with his commercial and dynamic approach - contributes to effective and successful completion of transactions and contract negotiations.

Jesper has particular expertise and experience in providing legal advice to owner-managers and owners of family businesses in sales transactions. He has deep insight into and substantial experience in Danish-German legal relations and cross-border negotiations/transactions.

  • the owners sale of all the shares in the owner-managed Lampemesteren A/S to Luqom GmbH
  • the owners sale of all shares in Latin ApS to Pensam Liv Forsikringsaktieselskab samt Pensionskassen Pensam
  • a number of transactions involving LLG A/S as purchaser and seller of businesses/companies
  • a number of SMV transactions involving i.a. Danpres A/S, Danske Stenhuggerier A/S, VTI Vinderup Træindustri A/S, and Støtek A/S
