Brexit impact on SPCs

On 27 April 2018, the European Commission issued a notice to stakeholders regarding Brexit's impact on SPCs. After Brexit, certain SPCs will no longer apply to the United Kingdom – this calls for awareness among businesses.

The notice explains how duration of SPCs should be calculated and that the two SPC Regulations (EC No 469/2009 and EC No 1610/96) will no longer apply to the United Kingdom after Brexit.
