NKT to enter into a Joint Venture with Taiwanese cable manufacturer
The Danish energy cable manufacturer NKT is to enter a Joint Venture with Taiwanese cable manufacturer, Walsin Lihwa. We have assisted NKT throughout the entire process of the contemplated formation of the Joint Venture.
The Joint Venture shall construct the first subsea power cable factory in Taiwan and shall supply high- and medium-voltage AC offshore power cables mainly for the Taiwanese offshore wind market - which is expected to grow rapidly in the next decade driven by the green transition of the country.
We have assisted NKT throughout the entire process of the contemplated formation of the Joint Venture.
