Kromann Reumert advises on the merger of MobilePay with Vipps and Pivo
Kromann Reumert has advised Danske Bank on the merger of the mobile payment solutions MobilePay in Denmark and Finland, Vipps in Norway and Pivo in Finland.
The banks behind Vipps in Norway will own 65% of the merged company, Danske Bank in Denmark will own 25%, and OP Financial Group in Finland will own 10%.
The combined company will have a total of 11 million users and over 330,000 stores and web shops as customers, thereby becoming one of the largest bank-owned mobile payment providers in Europe.
