Danish Competition Council approval of Danica Pension's acquisition of SEB Pension Denmark
Following a closer investigation, the Competition Council concludes that Danica Pension's acquisition of SEB Pension Denmark would not significantly restrict competition. The Competition Council has therefore approved the merger.

Danica Pension (a company in the Danske Bank Group) and SEB Pension (a company in the SEB group) filed in April 2018 a final notification to the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority concerning Danica Pension's acquisition of sole control of the companies SEB Pensionsforsikring A/S and SEB Administration A/S.
Danica Pension and SEB Pension are both active in the Danish life insurance and pension markets, including the markets for company and private pension schemes.
