Sara Goul Ærthøj

Having worked for many years a a data protection officer (DPO) in a global pharma company, Sara has relevant hands-on experience in making privacy rules work in practice.

Sara works with all aspects of data protection law in multiple industries, offering advice on all privacy issues, including the rules on legitimate processing, the use of personal data for specific purposes, the negotiation and content of data processing agreements, and the complex issues that may arise in connection with third country transfers.

She has also managed and assisted clients in numerous large GDPR compliance projects. With her background in the pharmaceutical industry (as DPO and as seconded to large Danish pharm companies), she navigates effortlessly in the boundary region between privacy law and the healthcare sector. Sara also has considerable experience in the marketing of pharmaceuticals. 

As an adviser, Sara always seeks to identify solutions that are commercially viable and readily usable by her clients.
