Kromann Reumert advises Balderton Capital (UK) on large-scale investment in Danish IT startup

Danish IT startup Peakon has received a venture investment of approx. DKK 130 million. The investment was made primarily by Balderton Capital, leading a number of other investors.

Kromann Reumert advised Balderton Capital on the investment, which took the form of a so-called Series B round, designed to help startups go from business idea to actual business.

Peakon develops and licenses software for measuring employee engagement, among other things, and is on its way to becoming a market leader on the field.

Peakon co-founder and COO, Kasper Hulthin, said to the Danish newspaper Børsen that the venture capital will be used to help the company break into the United States to pursue its ambition of becoming a global market leader.

Kromann Reumert partner Torben Waage headed our team of advisors, who in a swift process from 31 December 2017 to 2 February 2018 helped organise and execute the investment documentation and the due diligence review.
