FIDIC contracts − key terms and relevant additions
Join our upcoming event on FIDIC contracts which will be held on Thursday, 13 June 2024.
FIDIC contracts have for a long time been the preferred standards in certain industries such as the offshore wind industry. We are now seeing an increased use of FIDIC contracts in Denmark, not only in major infrastructure projects and in the energy sector generally, but also in projects involving production plant, logistic systems etc. We have therefore gathered our panel of FIDIC experts to outline and discuss some of the pressing issues that we encounter when using FIDIC contracts. We have further invited a prominent speaker from Ørsted to lay out Ørsted's journey with the use of FIDIC contracts in multiple sourcing contracts.
The event will focus on:
- The difference between the most widely used FIDIC contracts (green, red, yellow and silver)
- Key - and challenging - terms in the FIDIC contracts, including the role of the engineer, fitness for purpose, procedural rules, time limits, indemnities etc.
- Relevant additions to FIDIC contracts in relation to the use of software, cybersecurity, and service and maintenance
- Dispute resolution under FIDIC contracts
- A journey with FIDIC contracts - presentation by Ørsted
After the legal update, we invite you to join us for informal networking with flying finger food and drinks.
